You're invited to CAARES' very first in-person social in honor of Autism Acceptance Month — please share with your peers!
Join CAARES at SUNY Empire's Rochester campus for a groundbreaking new experience, THE MOVEMENT: 504.
Designed by neuroinclusive production company Intrigue eXperiences, this immersive theatre game will take participants to the San Francisco 504 Sit-In of 1977. the birthplace of the Americans with Disabilities Act, which gives students the right to participate in higher education free from disability discrimination.
After solving the game, participants will be joined in conversation on the disability rights movement by Empire's own Dr Bernadet DeJonge. Food will be provided.
Seats are limited — RSVP on Empire Connects to reserve your place! Travel reimbursement is available to students traveling from out of town!
