Mission The Student Government Association at Empire State University (SGA) is an autonomous organization within the Empire State University community, deriving its power from the student body. The SGA shall work closely with the University administration, faculty, staff, student body, and alumni to foster a spirit of community, diversity, and fellowship and to create programs, events, and services for the benefit of all members of the University community. SGA shall provide leadership that ensures the voice of the student body will be a powerful, equitably represented force in all decisions made at the University.
