Bluebird News Network (BNN) is Empire State University's student-driven news and media organization, dedicated to informing, engaging, and empowering the University community through independent journalism and multimedia storytelling. BNN amplifies the diverse voices, experiences, perspectives, and accomplishments of students across New York State and beyond through written journalism, podcasts, interviews, video, digital media, special projects, and emerging technologies. Guided by editorial independence, accuracy, fairness, integrity, accessibility, inclusion, accountability, and responsible freedom of expression, BNN strives to foster informed dialogue, encourage student participation, and tell the stories that reflect and connect the Empire State University community.
