Welcome to ETLD Connects, a dynamic network exclusively for current students in SUNY Empire's Educational Technology and Learning Design program. This community serves as your hub for networking and collaboration in the rapidly evolving field of educational technology and learning design. Membership benefits include networking, knowledge building, career development, collaborative learning, professional development, and community engagement.
Networking. Connect with fellow ETLD students and faculty who share your passion for educational technology and learning design, build relationships with colleagues across diverse sectors including higher education, K-12, corporate training, and educational technology development, access a growing network of instructional designers, educators, and technology specialists
Knowledge Exchange. Participate in virtual meetups featuring presentations from industry experts and fellow members, share experiences and insights about implementing technology-enhanced learning solutions, exchange good practices for creating effective learning environments using emerging technologies, and discuss practical applications of educational technology across different learning contexts.
Career Development. Access job postings in educational technology and instructional design, share and receive feedback on portfolios and projects, and learn about internship opportunities.
Collaborative Learning. Join special interest groups focused on specific areas such as: AI in education, game-based learning design, learning analytics, immersive technologies in education, or STEM education technology.
