Candidate Eligibility

To run for an SGA position, students must:

  • Be enrolled at SUNY Empire State University
  • Be in good academic standing
  • Meet all university conduct requirements

Eligibility is verified prior to candidate approval.

Campaign Guidelines

Candidates must follow all campaign guidelines to ensure a fair and respectful election process.

Guidelines include:

  • Adhering to posting and communication limits
  • Maintaining respectful and professional conduct
  • Following all election procedures
  • Violations may result in warnings, removal of content, or disqualification.

Voting Information

Voting will be conducted through the official university platform.
