Enrolled students are charged a Health Fee each term. This is a mandatory fee, not duplicative of private health insurance, and costs between $15 (when taking less than 12 credits) and $35 (when taking 12 or more credits).
The Health Fee supports access to various wellness resources, including virtual counseling and medical services.
The Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) is "a campus group mandated by the SUNY Board of Trustees to represent student health concerns and provide input on health, counseling, and prevention services at State University of New York (SUNY) campuses."
